MrBeast Winner Arrested After Cannabis Seizure in Paraguay

American pilot Jabari Brown, known from a MrBeast contest in which he won a private jet, has been arrested in Paraguay after authorities linked him to a cannabis seizure on an aircraft arriving from Miami.

Private jet from Miami searched at Paraguay airport

According to Paraguay’s National Anti-Drug Secretariat, SENAD, an aircraft landed at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, the country’s main airport, after a flight from Miami. During an inspection, authorities reportedly found 577 pounds of marijuana, equivalent to about 262 kilograms of cannabis.

Local reports described cannabis being found in luggage that authorities say was being moved from the aircraft to a vehicle. The vehicle was suspected of being headed toward Asunción.

Jabari Brown arrested with three other Americans

Brown, known online as “Treezy,” won MrBeast’s 2025 aviation contest, “100 Pilots Fight For A Private Jet.” The prize was a Hawker 400XP aircraft valued at $2.4 million, and Brown said at the time that he wanted to use the plane to start his own charter business.

According to the reporting, Brown was one of four Americans arrested in connection with the seizure. The other named detainees are Marisol Rivas, Anthony Vásquez and David Thomas Wise. Brown was reportedly arrested at a hotel in Asunción.

Authorities cite high THC levels and major market value

SENAD said the seized cannabis was of “premium” quality and contained high levels of THC. The agency estimated its value at about $3.6 million.

Prosecutors have filed allegations of international drug trafficking against Brown and the three other suspects. At the same time, Brown’s exact role remains unclear in the reporting.

Aircraft owner identified as another person

Authorities have not identified Brown as the owner of the aircraft. According to SENAD, the plane is owned and was piloted by Keith Siilats, an Estonian citizen described as a co-founder of Bolt Mobility in the United States. He reportedly left the country before authorities carried out the operation.
