Nearly 220 GACP-certified growers in Thailand
Thailand tightened its rules back toward a medical-only model in 2025, with access based on prescription. Since then the number of GACP-certified growers has grown from around 150 to nearly 220, and the country’s narcotics control and food authority has granted 38 licenses for cannabis extraction and four export licenses. Australia is currently the main export destination.
Export, cultivation economics and technology on the agenda
Over the two days, topics include the export chain from farm gate to patient, the economics of Thai cultivation and the path to profitability, and how automated facilities and quality systems can deliver more consistent production.
In one of the sessions, Bryan Ebstyne, CEO of headline sponsor Austranna, explains the company’s approach to cultivating older genetics at scale with international GMP alignment. Austranna is a licensed grower and manufacturer in Queensland with a one-hectare facility and plans to expand to five.
Thai Farm Pavilion and evening events
The expo also has its own pavilion, the Thai Farm Pavilion, where GACP-certified Thai farms and local producers exhibit. A VIP networking reception hosted by Austranna is held on 23 September, followed by a closing party at Sing Sing Theater on 24 September.
The event is supported by organizations including EUMCA and the UK’s Cannabis Trades Association, and media partners include Spannabis, Hanf Journal, CannaReporter, Business of Cannabis and Soft Secrets.

Sponsor: Sensi Seeds are one of Europe’s most recognized names in premium cannabis genetics, offering a wide selection of feminized, autoflowering, CBD-rich and F1 hybrid seeds for customers who want quality, consistency and choice.
